Included in the CountryWatch Youth Edition is a combination of background information on specific countries, current events coverage, a guide to the formation of countries within global context, as well as curriculum-based resources, and colorful international images.

The "Country Reports" are concise, regularly-updated capsules of background information on every country in the world. "Current Events" features significant and timely political developments across the international spectrum. “Learning About the World” considers the way the countries of the world is divided geopolitically. “Global Images” provides colorful maps, flags and national as well as cultural images from across the globe. “Curriculum Corner” contains lessons and quizzes, developed in accordance with National Social Studies Standards, and derived from CountryWatch’s background information. “Activities” offers the in-depth “CountryScope” activity intended to widen students’ awareness of the interconnected global world within which we live.
